The Future Paralegals of America is a nonprofit expanding access to civil justice through free and low‑cost legal support, community assistance, and legal education for the people who need it most.
Our mission is to make the civil legal system understandable, navigable, and fair for everyone especially low‑income individuals and families who cannot afford traditional legal help. We combine community paralegal support, legal‑literacy education, and technology to help people protect their housing, their identity, and their rights

01.
We help people navigate civil legal processes they would otherwise face alone — preparing and reviewing documents, conducting legal research, and connecting them to the right resources. Services include document preparation, notary services, legal research, and referrals. As a nonprofit, we provide legal information and document support, not legal advice or representation, except through licensed attorneys.

02.
We help families stabilize their lives with practical support: career and employment assistance, clothing and utility assistance, help understanding HUD and housing programs, and violence‑ and crime‑prevention resources. Legal problems rarely come alone, so we address the whole situation.

03.
We teach people how the legal system works through workshops, courses, and plain‑language resources on civil procedure, tenant rights, identity protection, and self‑advocacy. Our education programs empower individuals and communities with knowledge they can use.

04.
For matters that require a licensed attorney, we connect community members to legal counsel and pro bono resources. Representation is provided by independent, licensed attorneys and partner firms.
